@si_swimsuit has OFFICIALLY hit stands!!! I I broke down crying when I received the phone call that I would be shooting for the 2020 issue. The world sees these beautiful images…. but what they may not see is the moments between these shots that have changed my life and countless others. I have never felt more at ease and confident in the body I live in. There’s an undeniably positive energy on the SI Swimsuit set. You are surrounded by powerhouse men and women who work their butts off to capture beauty. They give their heart and soul to this art. The world sees a beautiful image…. but I see the moment when the countless years of hating my body faded away… I see a moment where I truly felt beautiful. I hope other women will see themselves in these pages. I hope they will look at a model and say “wow she has my body shape… my skin color… my hair color.” I hope in those moments they realize that their unique type of beauty is celebrated. Thank you so much to @mj_day, @darcieburroughs, and @ja_neyney for having me back this year!! I am truly grateful for every single moment I spend with the SI Swimsuit family. Thank you for trusting me to be a part of this incredible effort to capture the diversity of beauty. Thank you for the long hours, the sleepless nights, the time away from family, the flight after flight…. all for these incredible moments in time when confidence, beauty, intrigue, and power come together to create art. WOW! I really am speechless and this still doesn’t feel real. I am so grateful for every experience I have been able to have with my @si_swimsuit family. Thank you so much @mj_day – your warmth and genuinity is unparalleled and I have learned and grown so much. It’s been an honor to be surrounded by so many amazing and strong women. The second swipe here is a vision board I made about 4 years ago before I had ever even shot for sports illustrated. I cut out pictures from a huge SI coffee table book I bought and glued my face on it ? I was debating sharing this but figured if this huge milestone can mean something to someone else out there then it’s an even greater blessing for me. To anyone who sees this, never stop visualizing and striving for what you want. Don’t lose hope and remain focused and persistent. 4 years ago when I was pasting these images onto a poster board it was me sitting on the floor with my glue stick and scissors shooting for the stars and it felt completely unattainable. I just hope this can show anyone out there that their goals, big or small, really can come true and that you deserve it. Thank you to everyone who has helped me achieve this dream and to all the other dreamers, never give up ❤️? I love you guys!!!

After the birth of my son just before coming back for my 7th shoot, it was almost like it was my first shoot again. Getting back into a bikini and swim 4 months after having the baby was the most nerve wracking and liberating experience. As women our bodies change shapes and sizes thought having babies and you really have to relearn yourself and your body! I never have had so much love and respect for my body, stretch-marks, loose skin and extra pounds. I could have sat out a year and came back looking better than before but that’s not my journey or what I’m about. I knew coming in this year looking different people could have something to say but I’m proud of my new body and the feeling I get looking at my son grow everyday Is the best one in the world! I came back to share with other women who are struggling with their body image to help with their confidence because being healthy is more important than how you look. In life we go through so many phases but don’t let one phase of your life define how you feel about yourself. Women are fierce and strong and together we can handle everything.
