Partners for the event included Infor, returning for the fourth year, Laura Mercier and Stella Artois, returning for the second year, and new partners Fujifilm and Swarovski.

Infor, the leading provider of cloud applications for fashion and retail, teamed up with FIT and Hearst Magazines for the second annual Infor/FIT Fashion Design ICONS Awards—a two-part competition that explores the collaboration between designers and business teams. The winning gown design, which was envisioned by FIT student, Brandon Johnson, will be worn by fashion influencer, Olivia Perez, on the ICONS black carpet.

Laura Mercier brought its expertise to the ICONS event for the second year in a row. Laura Mercier seamlessly collaborated with Carine Roitfeld on the make-up scheme for the ICONS portfolio, including the stunning look for cover model and ICON, Candice Swanepoel. The portfolio highlighted new and iconic products including Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation and Caviar Stick Eye Colours. Laura Mercier also provided make-up services to celebrity attendees to complete their stylish looks to walk the ICONS black carpet. Laura Mercier rocked out guests with an irreverent Parisian lounge reminiscent of a French atelier in the 18th Arrondissement and provide guests with products fit for an ICON.

Stella Artois joined the prestigious publication for the second year in a row to help host an evening to remember. As a brand with more than 600 years of brewing heritage, Stella Artois has sought to inspire people to “Host One to Remember” this summer by adding personal touches to their get-togethers, and this special evening is no different. At two custom designed bars for the occasion, guests enjoyed Stella Artois, the classic Belgian lager, Stella Artois Cidre, a dry and balanced cider, and a specialty cocktail created for the evening called “The Stella Artois Cidre Unplugged,” which infused Stella Artois Cidre, pink grapefruit juice, raspberry and cherry puree, topped with thyme, peppermint and apples, all served in limited-edition #BAZAARICONS-branded Chalices and glasses. Guests captured their fashion for the evening in a large-scale Stella Artois #BAZAARICONS-branded mirror installation.

Fujifilm provided an integrative experience for guests throughout the event. At the beginning, a photo wall will serve as an Instax® product display. Guests were encouraged to take a camera, take a picture and replace the camera with an Instax print. Throughout the evening, brand ambassadors and guests invited to place their Instax prints on the Instax wall. There were also cameras passed out on plated trays in the ballroom for guests to snap their own party prints. Guests experienced a custom-made ICONS Gallery which will showcase large-scale versions of stunning photographs from the September issue of Harper’s BAZAAR, produced by the Fujifilm Graphic Systems Division, and featured on the cover and inside the ICONS portfolio. The entry to the Gallery featured an introduction to the portfolio portraits and a Swarovski-crystalized cover and opening page to the portfolio.

Swarovski added its signature sparkle throughout the ICONS party as a first-time partner with more than 225,000 crystals. A gorgeous jewelry display in celebration of Atelier Swarovski’s 10th anniversary will feature archive pieces from various design partners and immersive 3D holographic videos. There was an interactive moment for guests with Swarovski-crystalized guitars hanging on a larger than life photo-wall, evoking the Rock & Roll theme of the event. A Swarovski-crystallized #BAZAARICONS hashtag transformed a full-length staircase mirror into an unexpected photo moment while guests made their way to and from the main event space. Swarovski crystals were also seen in the ICONS Gallery on the cover and opening page prints, on the DJ’s headphones, and hanging on strands as a backdrop for the custom Instagram wall.

Belvedere Vodka served signature cocktails, including the eye-catching Belvedere Black Tie made with activated charcoal. Champagne from Moët & Chandon was served and they also provide a custom vending machine where guests enjoyed mini bottles of champagne.
