BARDOT LIVE PRESENTS NICKY JAM LIVESTREAM CONCERT
In a world where live stream is the new normal, Grammy award-winning Latin artist, Nicky Jam brought the beats to Wynwood’s neighborhood in a private location. Many artists had to adapt through the evolution of the pandemic with new digital methods to reach their audience. Bardot Live welcomed the reggaeton star to a private setting where he performed his classic songs along with his new records.
From performing Cásate Conmigo to hits such as Travesuras and En La Cama, Nicky Jam transported the audience to a pre-Covid era. He started the concert on time along with the professional dancers. His new single Polvo, which has amassed over 14 million views was performed twice. This new interpretation with Myke Towers, features classic reggaeton tunes with romantic lyrics. Definitely the right song for the end of a cataclysmic year. The accompanying video of his new single features model and Nicky Jam’s fiancé Cydney Moreau, who also attended the private concert.
With a select group of invitees, everyone was required to take a rapid COVID test before entering the site. It was like being invited to the most secluded party in the middle of the pandemic. Inside there were tables with Moet Hennessy’s new premium tequila brand, Volcan de Mi Tierra, alongside Moet Champagne and Belvedere Vodka thanks to event sponsor LVMH. Craft beer was provided by local brewery Veza Sur, who took transformed Bardot Live’s outdoor patio into a beer garden for the evening. Everyone was required to wear their masks while dancing, while the reggaeton star encouraged the crowd to booty dance like it was the mid-aughts.
Among those in attendance were Jam’s fianceé, model Cydney Moreau, who watched the show from the front row, as well as Peruvian actress Flavia Laos Urbina, model Cindy Prado and model Claudia Sampedro, former cast member of the E! reality series WAGS Miami, along with Bardot Live owners Yunexy Eloy and Maureen Kragt.
In celebration of Art Week, works by renowned contemporary artist Domingo Zapata and world-famous artist and actor Jordi Molla were on display from David Rosen Galleries, who commissioned a portrait of Jam as a gift to the musician. The event was hosted by Michelle Ciotti, whom many may recognize by her association with iHeartRadio.
Fashion brand House of Mua Mua provided guests with stylish masks and styled the outfits worn by Kragt and Ciotti, who stunned in Mua Mua gowns.
Headed by Yunexy Eloy and Maureen Kragt, Bardot Live is a next-generation entertainment venue that is leading the industry’s rapid evolution in 2020 by transforming how we can experience night-life and live music by utilizing their complementary skill-sets together.
Kragt is known for her work directing marketing and communications for the Influencer Awards Monaco and Eloy possesses an extensive background in cloud-based technologies, architecture and engineering. He is also known locally as a founding partner of Seaspice restaurant on the Miami River.
They are working alongside internationally awarded recording artist, Chiōma Èzé, who has secured sponsorship for the event through her own organization, Unimpossible Inc. Additional support for the livestream event has been provided by Studio Miami in conjunction with Entourage Entertainment to bring the event to life.
As we head to a new season of holiday events, Bardot Live expects to bring a new era of music and entertainment through digital experiences.
