SAKS FIFTH AVENUE, GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI AND SWAE LEE KICK OFF GAME DAY WEEKEND WITH COLLABORATION DROP
On Friday, January 31, Saks Brickell hosted a cocktail party with Giuseppe Zanotti and hip-hop superstar Swae Lee to celebrate the launch of the duo’s new collaboration “Giuseppe for Swae Lee.” Guests had the opportunity to mingle with Giuseppe and Swae, and shop the new shoe collection.
The collection infuses some of Swae’s trademarks with Giuseppe’s signature styles. Swae’s favorite color, pink, turns up as both a base color for “Blabber” sneakers, suede loafers and canvas boots, as well as an accent color in floral motifs.
“My favorite step was seeing my ideas coming to life,” said Swae Lee, who was involved in every step of the process, down to reviewing prototypes with the designer in Paris in the summer of 2019. “What I really like about these shoes is that they don’t have one class, anybody from any different world can wear them, they are not made for just one type of person, similar to my music.”
