Hello Dolly! The Dolly Parton Experience Comes to Fridge Art Fair NYC

Fridge Art Fair, a small but mighty, dog-friendly art experience, returns to New York City with its boldest, brightest, and most joyfully irreverent edition yet. Hello Dolly! The Dolly Parton Experience celebrates the legendary Dolly Parton, as this year’s fair leans fully into camp, heart, humor, and the unmistakable Fridge ethos: small, scrappy, and unforgettable. The 12th edition runs May 13 to 17, 2026, at the Hotel Alameda High Line in NYC’s Chelsea Art District, with free RSVP available via Eventbrite.

Small but Mighty

Known for being “small but mighty,” Fridge continues to challenge the traditional art fair model by emphasizing intimacy, accessibility, and raw creative energy. This year features just 10 tightly curated booths alongside the ever-expanding Open To All Project, proving that scale has nothing to do with impact. And yes, it’s going to be kind of amazing.

A Tribute to Linda DiGusta

This year features a heartfelt tribute to beloved co-director Linda DiGusta, highlighting her “Pear” series. This presentation honors her legacy while supporting causes connected to her life and work.

Generosity at the Core

Fridge remains rooted in generosity and community. Visitors can receive free mini dog paintings by founder Eric Ginsburg (while supplies last), continuing a beloved tradition of accessible, take-home art.

Special Projects and Performances

Expect a series of delightfully over-the-top special projects and performances:

The Dolly Cut-Out Collection

Interactive, absurdist, and made for fan photos.

Bedroom Wall of Dollys

A teenage fever dream of maximalist visual devotion by Kaitlin Martin.

Dolly Parton-Inspired Photographs

By David Waage, with art direction by Keith Ketwaroo. Bold, striking, and deeply aligned with the spirit of the show.

Live Performance by Miss Kanga Roo

An unpredictable and unforgettable live performance by the legendary Miss Kanga Roo as Dolly Parton at the VIP Opening Preview, Wednesday, May 13th at 8 PM.

Musical Stylings of Jack West

Jack West brings live energy and heart into the space on Thursday, May 14 at 7 PM.

Dog-Friendly Window Installations

As always, Fridge is proudly dog-friendly, extending into two special window installations at Dog City NYC: “Islands in the Stream” and “9 to 5.” These playful, street-facing works by founder Eric Ginsburg and friends bring the spirit of Dolly and Fridge out into the city itself.

Fridge Art Fair continues to stand apart: fiercely independent, joyfully unconventional, and grounded in the belief that art should be accessible, communal, and just a little bit ridiculous.
