From Bar Bas to The Otter to Highlight Room, Designer Christian Siriano Celebrates NYFW With Exclusive Dinners and Parties Across NYC – Paying Homage to His Models, His Guests and His Front Row VIPS
The Model Dinner
Christian Siriano kicked off New York Fashion Week with his annual pre-show model appreciation dinner at the new French-inspired cocktail lounge Bar Bas in Hell’s Kitchen on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, gathering approximately 25 models for an evening of dinner, cocktails, and dancing ahead of his highly anticipated runway show.

The intimate dinner and dance party took place at Bar Bas, the French-style cocktail lounge tucked beneath Marseille, where models gathered in a relaxed setting before the runway energy took over. DJ Gas kept the evening moving with a soundtrack of pop favorites from Britney Spears, RuPaul, Janet, and Madonna. Models in attendance included Anna Schilling, Larissa Marchiori, Daphne Velghe, Marquita Pring, Jocelyn, Solo Savka, Anna Savka, Ya Jagne, Leah Brown, Vlada, Alena, Kylie Vonnahme, Yulia Saparniiazova, Irina Kravchenko, Chloe Evero, Aqua, Marcela Ohio, Siri, AJ, Alena Frolova, Lovisa and Sophie Longford.
The French-inspired dinner began with roasted beets with goat cheese, crab, and avocado toast. For the main course, guests chose from sliced New York strip steak, grilled Atlantic salmon, or seared yellowfin tuna, accompanied by roasted rainbow carrots, creamy mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach, and French fries. Dessert included fresh berries with mango sorbet, followed by a surprise specialty Siriano cake from Bitee Pastries. Cocktails and wine flowed throughout the evening, including Bar Bas’ Le Chat Noir and the Runway Espresso Martini, as Siriano and his models celebrated together before taking the runway.
The VIP Dinner
Two days later, September 10th, 2026, Siriano continued his NYFW celebrations with an over-the-top, jaw-dropping runway show and presentation at Cipriani Wall Street. After the 1100-person show, Siriano headed to The Otter restaurant in SoHo for an intimate 30-person post-show dinner with his front-row celebrity guests, VIP friends, leading models, and top fashion insiders.
Hidden inside The Manner hotel’s main level, The Otter provided an intimate setting for Siriano’s energized and glamorously dressed front-row guests to gather over dinner and drinks and toast the latest collection. The post-show guest list was a who’s who, including Siriano, Evan Rachel Wood, Debra Messing, Billy Porter, Tiffany Haddish, Joanna “JoJo” Levesque, Mena Suvari, Brandy Norwood, Coco Rocha, Bronwyn Newport, Supriya Ganesh, Krys Marshall, Daphne Velghe, Anna Schilling and Alicia Solombrino, among others, as well as Christian’s parents, supporting their son’s big night.

Dinner began with The Otter’s Little Gem Caesar Salad and Tuna Tartare, followed by New York Strip Steak, Roast Chicken with citrus and creamy mushroom jus, and Steamed Halibut with warm cucumbers and mint. The meal was accompanied by fries, green beans, and silver corn maque choux.
Among the evening’s cocktails were an Espresso Martini made with Avión Reposado Tequila and the Siriano, an Otter staple made with Avión Reposado Tequila, Amaro Montenegro, peach liqueur and lemon, alongside a selection of wines, including Château Sainte Marguerite by Symphony.
The Late Night Afterparty
The two dinner evenings bookended Siriano’s NYFW runway presentation, beginning with a dinner devoted to the models who brought the collection to life and ending with an intimate gathering of the designer’s friends, models, and celebrity guests after the runway. Following his VIP dinner on Sept 10th, the group headed to Highlight Room at the MOXY LES to join another 400 show guests for a late-night all-out celebration, complete with DJ music, dancing, and cocktails flowing into the wee hours.
