JADEN CHO

JADEN CHO is a womenswear label founded by designer Sung Min Cho, rooted in emotions of romance, happiness, and ease. Born in 1991, Cho studied fashion design at Kookmin University before completing an MA in womenswear at the Royal College of Art in London — a background that shows in the label’s blend of couture-level technique with a more intuitive, feeling-first approach to design, one Cho has traced back to his earlier work as a florist and set designer.

The brand revives what Cho calls fading Korean sentiments through fashion, reinterpreting traditional aesthetics through embroidery, hand-finished craftsmanship, and the sustainable use of deadstock silk, all produced through a fully in-house system. His 2022 “Lemon Tulip Quilt Dress” was acquired by London’s V&A Museum, recognizing both its artistic and technical merit, and in 2025 he won the 21st Samsung Fashion & Design Fund, one of Korean fashion’s most prestigious awards for emerging designers. Cho has also shown quilted, sculptural work at Changgyeonggung Palace and collaborated with Italian material innovator Alcantara.

At S/S 2027, JADEN CHO presents at its Brand Showroom as part of the presentation programme, continuing Cho’s ongoing project of channeling Seoul’s layered character — its sophistication, creative energy, and subtle contrasts — through hand-worked, quietly emotional womenswear.
