SELENEE, the avant-garde luxury fashion brand, made waves at New York Fashion Week with the much-anticipated debut of its revolutionary “Pulse” Collection. Held in collaboration with Art Hearts Fashion at the prestigious Angel Orensanz Foundation on February 9th, the event showcased SELENEE’s daring fusion of art, technology, and fashion, creating an unforgettable sensory experience for attendees.
The “Pulse” Collection, a pinnacle of creativity and ingenuity, marks a significant moment in the fashion industry by incorporating breathing elements into couture apparel. Each meticulously crafted piece, made-to-order, reflects SELENEE‘s unwavering commitment to pushing boundaries and embracing the unconventional.
Inspired by the acclaimed works of artist MT Yang, particularly the “Kapavisha – The Tree of Life,” the collection embodies themes of restoration, revival, and rebirth. Mirroring the stainless steel sculpture’s symbolism of unity and strength, SELENEE’s avant-garde creations celebrate diversity and individuality, encouraging wearers to embrace authenticity through innovative design.
The runway show, set against the elegant backdrop of the Angel Orensanz Foundation, transported attendees into a world of elegance, boldness, and striking uniqueness. Lights dimmed, and music paused mid-show, unveiling the collection’s most mesmerizing feature , lung-like pulsations breathing life into each garment as they gracefully moved down the runway.
From sculptural outerwear with echoes of cinematic brilliance to sequin fringe dresses and embossed leather pieces inspired by underground culture, the “Pulse” Collection offered a diverse range of silhouettes tailored for fashion-forward individuals unafraid to make a statement through self-expression.
“We are thrilled to unveil the ‘Pulse’ Collection at Неделя моды в Нью-Йорке, marking a new chapter in SELENEE‘s journey of innovation and creativity,” said MT Yang, founder and artistic director of SELENEE. The brand’s commitment to responsible and sustainable practices shines through in its material choices and production methods, aligning with a broader mission to challenge the status quo and embrace innovation for a brighter future.
