In 2009, tragedy struck with the sudden loss of Aloona’s mother in a devastating car accident. Amidst the darkness emerged a ray of light in the form of a heartfelt gesture from a dear friend. Sensing Aloona’s need for solace, her friend proposed a new path , a journey into the world of DJing, where music became both solace and expression.
With courage and determination, Aloona enrolled in Moscow’s premier DJ school, immersing herself in the craft with unwavering dedication. What began as a means of healing soon blossomed into a full-fledged passion, as she honed her skills behind the decks and embraced the electrifying energy of the dance floor.
Driven by a desire to share her love for music with the world, Aloona began playing in Moscow clubs, captivating audiences with her infectious energy and impeccable taste. Her talent soon caught the attention of industry insiders, paving the way for international acclaim and recognition.
Her journey eventually led her to the United States, where she became a well-known resident DJ at esteemed Miami establishments such as Faena, Delano, SLS hotels, WALL, St. Regis, and more. Splitting her time between Miami and Los Angeles, she regularly performed in Chicago, Las Vegas, and New York.
While some may consider her accomplishments as a mark of success, Aloona continues to strive for more, yet to reach the pinnacle of her career. She achieved her biggest dream to date by playing on the stages at Burning Man in 2018 and 2019.
