Real football doesn’t end with the final whistle. It continues in the locker room — in knowing glances, jokes among teammates, and rituals that turn a group into a team. From this atmosphere comes Pantofola d’Oro x Tacchettee, an exclusive collection that tells the most authentic side of the game, designed for those who live football both on and off the pitch.
The collaboration brings together two Italian brands that share values of passion, belonging, and innovation:
- Pantofola d'Oro, an iconic name in football footwear.
- Tacchettee, the first Italian brand to create a supporter line, capable of interpreting fan language and transforming it into pop culture, art, and social commentary.

The Collection: Each Piece Tells a Story
- Tracksuit (sweatshirt + pants): Inspired by the practicality of training gear, reimagined with modern cuts and minimalist details.
- T-shirts: Three color variants that carry the locker room spirit beyond the pitch.
- Retro 1980s jersey: A tribute to old-school football — the kind that smells of real grass and dust.
- Lazzarini PDO x Tacchettee shoes: The legend returns, bringing back a myth that made history.
Tacchettee celebrates Giuoco Calcio (the Game of Football) as a universal language and a mirror of society, with collections that speak to supporters of every generation. Already an official licensee of Italia FIGC e La Gazzetta dello Sport, the brand continues to collaborate with entities that share its values. Pantofola d'Oro, guardian of a timeless football tradition, is one of these partners.
Com PDO x Tacchettee, locker room culture becomes style, the past meets the present, and football is told through garments and accessories that are much more than simple products — they are symbols of belonging.
Pantofola d’Oro: A Legacy of Craftsmanship
In a small family workshop on Via della Fortezza in the heart of Ascoli Piceno’s old town, Emidio Lazzarini worked as a shoemaker, applying the teachings of his father and grandfather, artisans in Ascoli since 1886.
In the 1940s, after work, Emidio practiced wrestling – a sport that forced him to wear uncomfortable and unsuitable shoes. So he decided to make his own: soft, snug, and nearly perfect. Soon, he realized his shoes could benefit other athletes too, and contacted the local football team, Ascoli. Success was immediate.
Over time, the shoe was refined and offered to players from prestigious teams. It appeared on the feet of Real Madrid legends Müller, Puskás, and Di Stéfano. In the 1960s, Pantofola d’Oro was seen on every pitch, worn by creative midfielders like Sivori and Rivera, sharp strikers like Mazzola, and tough champions like Riva, Haller, Burgnich, and Amarildo. Even Yashin, the legendary Soviet goalkeeper, trusted his size 47 feet to Pantofola.
In the 1970s, Italian stars like Capello, Conti, Morini, Pruzzo, and Spinosi wore them – especially Roberto Bettega, who won seven league titles in his career. In the 1980s, Brazilian greats Falcão, Cerezo, and Dirceu joined the legacy, and Roger Milla became Pantofola’s African ambassador.
In the 1990s, the marca accompanied Roberto Mancini’s successes. In the 2000s, Pantofola d’Oro entered a new era – reviving its commitment to tradition, quality materials, handmade Italian craftsmanship, and the care of genuine leather.
Is it a sign of football returning to true passion? Perhaps. But it’s certainly the return of Pantofola d'Oro.
