October 10, 2025 — Today, singer, songwriter, and producer Diana Silvers shares her second song, the gentle yet sharply observational “Airplane,” out now via Capitol Records. Written and produced by Diana herself, the new single is an intimate and immersive folk record that captures the profound feeling about moving through this world as a woman. Alongside the release of “Airplane,” Diana announced her debut album, From Another Room, arriving November 7. The record draws listeners into her world through cinematic, folk-inflected songs that capture her timeless storytelling. With the analog experience in mind, Diana also launched a preorder for a vinyl edition of the record, which will include a special bonus track, available exclusively in physical format. Vinil preorder link is Aqui.
Diana is currently on the road supporting Jon Batiste sobre The Big Money Tour, performing to sold-out venues across North America, including Colorado’s legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre and, earlier this month, the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. While at the latter, Diana recorded a cover of Johnny Cash's “Folsom Prison Blues” from the dressing room — watch Aqui. See the tour’s remaining dates below and find more info Aqui.
Last month, Diana released her debut single "June," a deeply personal track that landed on Rolling Stone’s ‘Songs of the Week’ list and inspired The Luna Collective to write, “There’s a balance between tenderness and devastation that makes this song so affecting; it holds grief and devotion in the same breath … Silvers is ready to be heard, carving a space where honesty and craft meet.”
Shortly before the release of “June”, Diana made her live debut at the hallowed Newport Folk Festival as a 2025 Pop-Up Artist, a breakout performance that Boston.com said “struck exactly the right tone… Her voice was clear, her lyrics were observantly honest, and her presence on stage was calming in the early afternoon sun.” In the spirit of the festival, she performed the freshly penned "Politician" and joined in for the collective finale on the main stage, singing the annual closer “Goodnight Irene” alongside Glen Hansard, Nathaniel Rateliff, Jesse Wellese outros.
With a multifaceted career that began with modeling and acting, Diana has steadily built an impressive resume over the years prior to releasing her own music. With screen credits ranging from Blumhouse horror flicks (Ma) to Netflix ensemble comedies (Space Force) to coming-of-age features (Booksmart directed by Olivia Wilde); and fashion campaigns with Celine, Prada, Polo, e muito mais, Diana has established herself as a bourgeoning and versatile talent. Today’s release marks the continuing of a new era, one in which she steps into the spotlight as a musician, songwriter, and producer.
Diana was classically trained on cello as a child, but it was around the pandemic — as her star was rising — that we began to see hints of her more musical future. Interviews with the Los Angeles-born, New York-based artist at the time nearly always bent toward música at some point. Back then, she told Vanity Fair, “I spend half my day in quarantine plonking away at some instrument, making noise just because I like it.” A contemporary FLAUNT profile glowingly noted that “Silvers’ references are eclectic and inter-generational … Jimi Hendrix and Joni Mitchell share airtime with Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey.” And when Pitchfork asked her to share her personal playlist, they wrote, clearly impressed, “Music comes naturally to Diana Silvers.”
But all that was before anyone had heard her original songs — and little other than a few short but striking Instagram covers, including one where she does “Hey Jude” on the glockenspiel. Now, after teaching herself guitar and finding her truest expression in the moments away from the spotlight, Diana Silvers is ready to share her instantly captivating songs with the world.
