Casa música heavy hitter BIJOU makes a bold entrance into a new chapter of his career with “Mind Eraser,” his debut release on FISHER’s label Catch & Release, out on August 22.
The high-octane single arrives alongside BIJOU’s first headline tour in two years, also titled “Mind Eraser,” signaling a full circle moment and fresh creative era both in the studio and on stage. This is more than just a single – it’s the start of a full-scale relaunch, introducing fans to a refined true house sound, evolved identity, and major co-sign from one of house music’s biggest names, FISHER.
BIJOU shares, “Sometimes the best records come together at the last second. I produced the majority of this song in the lounge of the Charlotte airport, a day before the session with Datti. I was on my way to La for a show after playing in the Dominican Republic and needed something new for our session the next day. I had other tunes but knew this was the one she’d really love.
Right away, she loved it and we wrote the rest of the song over an hr and it was done. Road tested it the next weekend, and we knew we had something special on our hands. Big ups to Fish and the team for believing in it, we’re stoked to have it out on Catch & Release!”
With additional singles lined up on Catch & Release, a revamped visual aesthetic, and a high-energy tour hitting major markets across the U.S. with a forthcoming phase two, BIJOU is staking his claim as one of house music’s most compelling voices – a producer equally at home on the underground circuit and the global stage.
