Under the creative direction of Caroline Engelgaar, MKDT Studio’s SS26 collection captivated audiences with its earthy-inspired aesthetic, marking the final chapter of a trilogy exploring natural elements, following the sea and sky in previous seasons. The collection featured bio-based materials and the brand’s signature monogram integrated into wearable pieces like tailored cotton shirts, blending whimsical shapes with enduring practicality. The choice of Thorvaldsens Museum as the venue underscored MKDT Studio’s dedication to sustainability, eliminating the need for additional décor in line with CPHFW’s stringent environmental standards.
