Oh Polly Swim Returns to Miami for 5th Annual Swim Week Show

On Saturday, May 30th, 2026, Oh Polly Swim made its much-anticipated return to Miami Swim Week, unveiling the brand’s latest swim collection, ‘Copacabana,’ with Layla Taylor, star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, gracing the runway.
The ‘Copacabana’ collection debuted in a dynamic live runway show featuring 22 looks on 11 models. Designed to capture the vibrant spirit of Brazilian summers, the collection blends swimwear, cover-ups, and resortwear with a rich palette of saturated hues, timeless silhouettes, and elevated textures. For the first time ever, Oh Polly embraced a theatrical runway experience, narrating the collection’s journey from Rio to Runway through immersive video and innovative set design.
Brand Director Megan Mitchell said, “Oh Polly is thrilled to present ‘Copacabana’ in our most theatrical runway yet at Paraiso’s Miami Swim Week. We’re transporting everyone to our very own ‘Tiki Bar,’ kicking off summer with a seamless blend of Brazil and Miami vibes. Having Layla Taylor on the runway this year is a true highlight—she perfectly embodies our Oh Polly girl: confident, fun, and ready to take on summer.”
Drawing inspiration from the iconic beaches of Rio, the collection is awash with chili reds, warm yellows, and sunset orange tones, complemented by retro-inspired stripes that pay homage to vintage swimwear. Paired with refined knit cover-ups and sparkling resort pieces, ‘Copacabana’ is crafted for unforgettable summer moments.
Rooted in versatility, the collection features minimal micro swim silhouettes that cleverly reverse from statement prints to bold contrast-color solids. Seventies-inspired stripes, polished gold hardware, and handcrafted textures evoke a sense of escapism and effortless glamour, while sheer knit layering pieces offer a relaxed, artisanal touch. For evening allure, sequined fringe styles add fluid movement, seamlessly transitioning the collection from sun-soaked days into sultry nights.

Lead Designer Katie Cryer elaborated on the vision behind the collection: “With Copacabana, we aimed to capture the energy, sexiness, and optimism of a Brazilian beach summer through a modern lens. The inspiration came from retro 70s photos of Copacabana Beach—vibrant colors, bold contrasts, and the effortless confidence that defines the beach culture there. We focused on creating pieces that feel playful and expressive while staying true to our signature body-focused silhouettes, enhanced by reversible styling, elevated hardware details, and tactile textures like sheer knits and sequined fringes.”
