JULYCOLUMN

Julycolumn is a Seoul-based womenswear brand founded in 2017 by sisters Sooy and Jay Park, who studied at Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion respectively. The label’s aesthetic originated in an art studio in East London and is inspired by the 19th-century British Arts & Crafts movement; all pieces are designed, patterned, cut, hand-finished and packaged in the designers’ own studio. The brand is defined by a balance of femininity and tradition, fragmented silhouettes, tactile contrasts, and a redefined approach to sustainable luxury — incorporating laser-cutting technologies alongside traditional handcraft techniques.

It debuted at Seoul Fashion Week in Fall 2021 and has since become a fashion-week favorite; its S/S 2025 collection drew on Korean tradition and worked with Jeju Samdasoo Water, with inspiration from sculptor Seo Do-ho. In 2025 Julycolumn was selected for the “Resonance: Voices of Seoul” exhibition at Milan Fashion Week, organized with CNMI and the Seoul Metropolitan Government, representing Korean craftsmanship on an international stage. At Seoul Fashion Week 2027 S/S it presents in the intimate presentation format at DDP Seoul-On.
