BIG PARK
BIG PARK is a lifestyle label founded in 2012 by designer Park Youn-soo together with his daughters, Sooy Park and Jay Park, making it a genuinely multi-generational family house within the Seoul Fashion Week schedule. The brand has built its identity on bold, sculptural silhouettes and a willingness to reinterpret classic pieces through dramatic proportion — past collections have drawn on contemporary Korean calligraphy, reworking brushstroke gestures into design details and movement-driven construction, and floral prints inspired by camellia blossoms.
BIG PARK has used Seoul Fashion Week’s off-schedule and site-specific programming to notable effect, staging one season’s show at a centuries-old temple in the city’s Seongbuk District, transforming a historic religious space into a full runway experience that folded the brand’s fashion identity directly into Korean heritage architecture. The label’s designer, credited in recent seasons as Park Jong-chul, has described fashion as “emotional therapy,” and collections have incorporated cultural touchpoints like hanji paper and the Taegeuk motif into an otherwise contemporary, genderless design vocabulary of denim popper pants, wide-leg trousers, and oversized layering.
For S/S 2027, BIG PARK returns to DDP Art Hall 1 continuing that pattern of bold, transformative silhouette work — a family label whose scale and ambition have only grown since its founding well over a decade ago.
