NOVEMBER 17, 2024 – LOS ANGELES, CA– Last night, Grammy-nominated artist Doechii delivered a show stopping performance at Camp Flog Gnaw 2024 at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. During the festival, Doechii dazzled onstage in a full Thom Browne ensemble featuring a gray pleated skirt and matching blazer paired with knee high black socks and another stunning Miu Miu fit featuring stylish mini lime green shorts.
During her set, she performed her latest hits “Nissan Altima,” “Boom Bap” and more, from her EP Alligator Bites Never Heal. Later in the set, Doechii brought out SZA for a dynamic performance of their iconic collab “Persuasive.” Later in the evening, Doechii was welcomed back onstage for a high-energy joint performance of Tyler The Creator’s new hit single “Balloon” joined by Tyler and Daniel Caesar. With her commanding stage presence and unmatched energy, Doechii continues to cement her status as a visionary artist and an unforgettable live performer.
As the most nominated female rapper at the 2025 Grammy Awards, with four nominations including Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance, and Best Remixed Recording, Doechii is breaking major milestones this year. She recently wrapped her SOLD-OUT 13-city Alligator Bites Never Heal Tour, capped by a showstopping finale in Washington D.C. Her latest mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal, debuted on the Billboard 200 and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. During the Tampa stop of the tour, Doechii surprised students at her alma mater, Howard W. Blake High School, with an inspiring choir assembly. She also made waves as a featured artist on Katy Perry’s single “I’m His, He’s Mine,” performed at the VMAs, and graced the cover of PAPER Magazine‘s 40th Anniversary issue, where she was praised as “blunt, buzzing, and self-assured.” Recently, she appeared on Apple Music’s The Ebro Show. With critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, NPR, and Billboard, and a reputation for her bold style and energetic pop hits, Doechii has solidified her place as the industry’s newest it-girl.
About Doechii
Rising star Doechii’s new hip-hop/rap mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal, captures a rare talent in her rawest form yet, giving listeners 19 distinct windows into her one-of-a-kind artistry. On the mixtape, Doechii is equal parts her Tampa roots and Los Angeles, where she’s currently based. She is then and now and also tomorrow, she is countless genres and movements and eras and ideas laid out before us in less than an hour of song. She is the woman on the cover, looking like a stone-faced queen, wearing Vivienne Westwood with beads in her braids and an albino alligator in her lap as if to say, “Did you expect something less?”
The mixtape comes on the heels of Doechii’s Eurodance-inspired hit “Alter Ego,” dubbed by R&B superstar SZA as “the craziest song I’ve heard all year.” After gaining 600 million plus global streams for “What It Is (Block Boy)” last year, she continued to build her momentum when she popped out to Los Angeles to open for Beyoncé. That same fall, the self-proclaimed Swamp Princess hit the road with Doja Cat on her Scarlet Tour dates.
