Shenzhen-Milan Lifestyle Week returns from 17 to 19 July 2026, consolidating its role as an international meeting platform between Italy and China and as an accelerator of relationships across creativity, enterprise and culture. Now in its third edition, the event confirms its standing as one of the principal occasions for exchange between the two countries, bringing together institutions, businesses, universities, creatives and industry professionals in a program that places at its center the value of culture as a universal language and a lever for development across the fashion and lifestyle sector.

Following previous editions devoted to the dialogue between fashion, design and innovation, the project evolves further, proposing an integrated vision of the contemporary way of life, in which fashion, technology, culture and new creative languages become tools for imagining new forms of experience and connection. The 2026 edition will unfold in Shenzhen with a program of events combining runway shows, installations, exhibition moments, encounters and opportunities for international networking.

The theme of this edition is Digital Fashion Eastern Expression, a reflection on the relationship between cultural identity and contemporary transformation, finding expression through formats capable of carrying fashion beyond the runway and into everyday life. The project explores the concept of Fashion returning to life: a new interpretation of lifestyle in which the spaces of contemporary living are reimagined as places of experience, connection and creativity, bringing the aesthetic dimension into dialogue with the everyday.

Alongside the creative dimension, the program will include sessions dedicated to innovation in fashion and the transformation of production and distribution models, with insights into new technologies and the sector’s emerging languages. Technology will be interpreted as a tool in the service of creativity, the product, and manufacturing value.

Shenzhen-Milan Lifestyle Week also reaffirms its cross-disciplinary approach to lifestyle, drawing connections among fashion, design, culture, and new forms of contemporary expression to generate experiences that connect people, places, and creative communities. Among the protagonists of the event will be Hui Zhouzhao, designer of HUI Milano and promoter of China Style in Italy, who has for years been committed to developing projects that foster dialogue between Chinese cultural heritage and Italian creative sensibility.

Fashion will remain the central language of the event and will accompany the entire program through two distinct and complementary moments, conceived to convey different ways in which creativity, experience and international relationships come together.

The first will coincide with the opening of Shenzhen-Milan Lifestyle Week and will take the form of a runway show that officially launches the 2026 edition, interpreting the dialogue between Italy and China through a narrative devoted to contemporary fashion, aesthetic research and cultural exchange. The second will offer a more immersive experience, focused on the relationship among brands, professionals, and the market, in a setting designed to encourage direct engagement with international buyers and stakeholders. The exhibition and experiential dimensions will intertwine in a format that brings together fashion, lifestyle culture, and moments of discovery linked to food and wine.

Among the protagonists of the event will be Domenico Orefice, Casapreti, Momonì, Alberto Zambelli and HUI Milano, in a narrative that interweaves creative research, cultural identity and international openness. For the brands and designers involved, this will be more than an international presentation: it will be an experience of cultural, institutional, and professional exchange, conceived to generate new opportunities for visibility, connection, and growth in the Chinese market.

“Culture represents the most solid ground on which to build lasting relationships between peoples. With Shenzhen-Milan Lifestyle Week, we want to create concrete opportunities for encounter between Italy and China, supporting talent and celebrating extraordinary cultural heritage,” says Hui Zhouzhao.

Shenzhen-Milan Lifestyle Week thus reaffirms its calling: to build bridges between cultures, to nurture the dialogue between fashion and innovation, and to generate new opportunities among people, places, and creative supply chains. Today more than ever, culture, creativity, and the capacity to innovate are essential tools for imagining the future of the international Mode system.
