Kontatto chose the iconic fashion capital of Milan to unveil its FW24-25 “Ready to Wool” collection with a dynamic fashion show event titled “Kontatto and the City.” Held on September 26th at Palazzo del Ghiaccio, the show was a celebration of urban energy, Italian craftsmanship, and contemporary style.
The “Ready to Wool” collection embodies a fusion of bold design, comfort, and innovation, tailored for the cosmopolitan, modern woman. Entirely made in Italy, specifically in Emilia Romagna, each piece reflects the brand’s commitment to excellence. The collection artfully blends urban aesthetics with Italian artisanal tradition, giving rise to clothing that transforms the streets into a runway.
Bold lines and daring contrasts of fabrics and colors define this collection. Dominating shades of grey and burgundy wrap around the daywear comfort dress, while soft polo shirts in nude and pastel green add a touch of sweetness. A sporty vibe is also present with military green and burgundy eco-leather bomber jackets paired with floral prints, creating a refined balance between austerity and lightness.
Knitwear is the star of the collection, standing out for its versatility and comfort. It ranges from tricot sets to oversized pullovers, matched with denim and eco-fur. Multi-material fabrics come together in harmonious compositions, with satin brightening both day and evening looks in shades ranging from peach to beige, with the ever-classic black. Sensual slip dresses, adorned with lace inserts, are layered under soft mohair wool sweaters, creating an alluring contrast of softness and strength.
Suits play a central role, with multiple variations in form, fabric, and volume. Palazzo pants are paired with tailored vests and oversized blazers, offering a strong and bold silhouette. Natural color palettes are enhanced by hints of glitter and sequins, reflecting light with a subtle elegance. Burgundy takes center stage as the collection’s dominant hue, enveloping the pieces in its rich and velvety allure.
In celebration of this milestone event, Kontatto collaborated with artist Alessandro Brighetti to create a unique piece of art for the official show invitation. The artwork, titled “K Touch,” is a digital collage and hand-drawn piece that reflects the brand’s aesthetic, featuring the delicate gesture of a feminine silhouette intertwined with two symbolic feathers. This artistic creation encapsulates Kontatto’s unique approach to fashion.

As the models walked the runway with confidence, each outfit made a statement, striking the perfect balance between glamour and modernity. The collection’s lines are playful and vibrant, featuring mini skirts, shorts and wide-legged tailored pants, showcasing a feminine elegance that feels both welcoming and effortlessly chic.
Kontatto’s presence at 米兰时装周 marks a significant moment in the brand’s journey. Founded in Bologna in 1995 by Federico Ballandi, Kontatto has remained true to its origins in knitwear while growing into an internationally recognized brand. With a strong network across Italy and abroad, Kontatto aims to expand into new international markets, continuing to blend quality craftsmanship with accessible pricing.
The FW24-25 “Ready to Wool” collection reflects Kontatto’s dedication to creating fashion that resonates with contemporary women who live with energy, creativity and determination. As this latest collection takes Milan by storm, it reaffirms Kontatto’s place in the global fashion landscape, standing at the intersection of style, practicality and innovation.
