Simorra

Simorra is a Barcelona-based women’s ready-to-wear brand founded in 1978 by Javier Simorra, who learned the trade directly from his father, a Barcelona couturier with a traditional trade and a passion for opera. In the late 1970s Javier Simorra set out to create a fashion proposal combining the elegant gesture and level of detail of the sewing he learned at home with a more modern, ready-to-wear approach. In 2006, the brand entered a new phase of modernisation with the arrival of the Dimas family, a group with a long history in textiles, who began a process of renewal focused above all on innovating from the creation process and giving the fabric a central role.

The new Simorra places material at the centre of design and understands fabric as a vehicle of creative expression for communicating messages and emotions. The label has been a fixture on the MBFWMadrid calendar for multiple consecutive seasons, including dedicated shows for FW24, SS25, FW25, SS26 and FW26, and has pursued international expansion — including a stated push into the United States. It is known for elevated, considered womenswear built around textiles.
