The Italian house presents a study in contrast — pyjamas, lace, and the enduring language of Italian ease — through the lens of its longtime collaborator

Dolce & Gabbana has released its Spring/Summer 2026 advertising campaign, photographed by Steven Meisel. The campaign — spanning both men’s and women’s imagery — translates the house’s runway vision into a cohesive narrative of beautiful contradictions: masculine tailoring codes set against the intimate architecture of lingerie lace, and the season’s signature pyjama silhouette rendered in its most quintessentially Italian form.
Meisel, who has been the creative force behind Dolce & Gabbana’s seasonal campaigns since Summer 2023, brings his signature command of mood, persona, and visual atmosphere to the Spring/Summer 2026 work. Shot against sets designed by Mary Howard, the imagery is grounded in warmth and intimacy — an aesthetic entirely coherent with the collection shown on the Milan runway in September 2025.
WOMEN’S CAMPAIGN
The women’s campaign stars models Mathilda Gvarliani, Jacqui Hooper, Iasmin Reis, and Stella Hanan — a cast selected for the distinctiveness and presence each brings to the frame. Stylist Karl Templer assembled the looks with precision, anchoring the season’s key silhouettes in the house’s beloved Leo print and clean vertical stripes against a palette of warm neutrals. Soft yet structured bags complete each composition. Hair was handled by Guido Palau, with beauty directed by Pat McGrath. Casting was led by Piergiorgio Del Moro of DM Casting.
The imagery communicates the collection’s central proposition with quiet force: that opposites, placed in honest proximity, generate something more compelling than either element alone. Classic men’s pyjamas — in cotton stripe — meet the airy construction of lingerie lace. The juxtaposition is intentional and entirely coherent within Dolce & Gabbana’s design DNA.
MEN’S CAMPAIGN
The men’s campaign, also photographed by Steven Meisel, features models Edoardo Sebastianelli and Francesco Ruggiero in imagery that embodies a rigorously Italian sense of ease. The pyjama — a Dolce & Gabbana staple first introduced on the runway in the 1990s and reinvented across the 2000s — returns in its most considered form: lightweight cotton jacquard, vertical stripes in varying widths, and a sensibility that dissolves the conventional boundary between indoor dressing and public life. The styling reflects a wardrobe designed to move fluidly between city rhythm and the unhurried pace of a holiday destination.
