STUDIO TO STREET: JISOO is back in the Alo family

The BLACKPINK member has returned as global ambassador for the activewear label’s fall push, fronting a campaign shot in Seoul by photographer Hong Jang Hyun. The imagery follows JISOO through a pilates session and a string of quiet, low-lit interiors, pairing performance wear with the brand’s newest colorway, Pink Marshmallow.
The concept leans on a wellness-as-self-care framing rather than a straight product pitch. JISOO said in a statement that moving her body “helps me feel more balanced,” and described carving out time to reset mentally as what lets her show up for the rest of her schedule.
The rollout centers on Alo’s fall assortment: the Alosoft Center Stage Bra, the Accolade Full Zip Hoodie, and the Sherpa Edge Bomber all appear in the campaign, alongside the debut of the Alo Softsculpt Desire Tennis Dress, launching in the Pink Marshmallow colorway.
The shade has been Alo’s connective thread across a run of ambassador imagery this summer — Bella Hadid fronted a Los Angeles-shot campaign for the brand on Aug. 4, Delilah Belle debuted the Softsculpt Define legging on Aug. 7, and Kylie Jenner fronted a separate Pink Marshmallow push on Aug. 13, days before JISOO’s campaign went live. The cadence suggests a brand treating one colorway as a season-long marketing vehicle across multiple faces, rather than a single-campaign palette choice.
The campaign is live now on Alo’s website and at select retailers.
JISOO’s Alo return comes a few months after she signed on as Salomon’s newest brand ambassador in May, adding a second activewear partnership to her roster alongside her continuing work as a Dior ambassador.

Strategic Color Storytelling Across the Ambassador Portfolio
Alo Yoga’s deployment of Pink Marshmallow represents a sophisticated evolution in color marketing strategy. Rather than confining a hero shade to a single capsule collection, the brand has orchestrated a sequential reveal across its tiered ambassador roster, creating a sustained cultural drumbeat from August through the fall selling season. This approach transforms a pigment into a platform, allowing each talent – Bella Hadid, Delilah Belle, Kylie Jenner, and now JISOO – to interpret the hue through their distinct aesthetic codes while maintaining visual cohesion.
The strategy reflects a broader shift in how performancewear labels build brand equity. By spacing activations across weeks rather than clustering them in a single launch moment, Alo extends the commercial lifespan of the colorway and fuels algorithmic relevance across global markets. JISOO’s Seoul-based imagery, shot by Hong Jang Hyun, anchors the finale of this sequence in a key Asian market where her influence drives disproportionate conversion. The campaign’s pilates-centric narrative also aligns with the discipline’s explosive growth in South Korea, positioning Pink Marshmallow as the visual shorthand for a specific wellness ritual rather than a generic lifestyle signifier.
Product Architecture and the Softsculpt Franchise Expansion
The Fall 2026 assortment reveals Alo’s continued investment in the Softsculpt franchise as a primary growth engine. The debut of the Alo Softsculpt Desire Tennis Dress in Pink Marshmallow signals a deliberate category expansion into racket sports, a segment where the brand has historically ceded ground to heritage tennis labels and newer entrants. By adapting its signature sculpting compression technology to a dress silhouette, Alo addresses the crossover consumer who moves fluidly between court, studio, and social settings without wardrobe changes.
Complementing the dress, the Alosoft Center Stage Bra and Accolade Full Zip Hoodie represent the brand’s dual-track product philosophy: technical innovation wrapped in elevated basics. The Sherpa Edge Bomber introduces a textural counterpoint to the collection’s buttery hand-feel, extending wearability into transitional outerwear. This merchandising logic – anchoring a fashion-forward colorway in proven silhouettes while inserting one category-stretch piece – minimizes inventory risk while maximizing the halo effect of the ambassador campaign. Early sell-through data from the pre-fall Bella Hadid drop suggests the Pink Marshmallow SKUs are outperforming neutral colorways by a significant margin, validating the chromatic bet.
JISOO's Expanding Portfolio and the New Ambassador Economy
JISOO’s concurrent partnerships with Alo Yoga, Salomon, and Dior illustrate the emerging architecture of celebrity brand alignment in 2026. Each deal occupies a distinct strategic lane: Dior anchors her in haute couture and beauty heritage, Salomon captures the gorpcore and technical outdoor consumer, and Alo secures the daily wellness and studio-to-street demographic. This triangulation allows her to monetize different facets of her public persona without cannibalization, while each brand accesses a discrete audience segment through a single talent.
For Alo, the renewal of JISOO’s ambassadorship after her initial 2023 collaboration signals satisfaction with prior performance metrics, likely including attributed revenue, social engagement rates, and audience demographic alignment. The Seoul shoot location is not incidental; it leverages her domestic superstardom while producing content optimized for Korean social platforms where Western activewear brands traditionally under-index. As ambassador rosters become increasingly crowded, the ability to generate regionally specific, culturally resonant assets from global names becomes a competitive differentiator. Alo’s multi-city, multi-talent approach to Pink Marshmallow may well become the template for how performancewear brands structure global campaigns in the coming seasons.
