In a world full of uncertainty and chaos, we often forget to take a step back and look around. For London Fashion Week Agne Kuzmickaite presents a collection that reminds us to reflect upon everyday elements that exist in nature, prevalent in the use of her beautiful signature butterfly prints.
We also see the addition of a new and dynamic Leopard print, which not only reminds us of nature and its beauty, but also power, independence and confidence. Agne Kuzmickaite pairs these two dimensional prints with the classic and simple silhouettes of wearable bodysuits, jumpsuits and dresses. The body con pieces excuse fierceness and resilience.
The collection is presented via the lithuanian dance group, @SmartDancestudio who present an uplifting and joyous dance routine choreographed by @RaidasPetrauskas – taking inspiration from voguing, a style of dance originating from the LGBTQ+ community and 19th century Drag Balls.
Crossing gender boundaries by seeing the garments on both men and women; we see the garments put to their best use, in expressing the young individual’s identity through dance and clothing, leaving us feeling more excited and positive towards the world around us
