Supermodel Devon Windsor Launches New Swimwear Brand
New York, New York (July 10th, 2019) – Today, internationally renowned supermodel Devon Windsor launches her very own swimwear line, Devon Windsor. The inaugural collection will feature over 30 different styles ranging from full-pieces, bikinis, and cover-up options, all perfect for summer.
Devon Windsor grew up fascinated by the joy she got from shopping for new swimsuits each year her family went on summer vacation. “There is something about being able to mix & match colors, patterns, and silhouettes, and create your unique look that fuels confidence and excitement!” says Windsor. Finding it difficult to find a swimwear line that met all of her cravings of having a swimsuit that created “a look” rather than just a classic, go-to bikini, Windsor set out to fill the gap in the marketplace for wearable statement swimwear. With the help of her Fiancé Jonathan Barbara Co-Creative Director and CEO of Alexis, she finally can share her ideas with the world. “I am so excited to finally share this brand with everyone – this has been a passion of mine for so long, and to see it come to life is a dream come true. For the past year, I’ve been wearing it, testing the fit and cut, even photographing it and seeing how it looks. I’ve had friends and family wearing the styles as well because I thought it was important to get feedback from a range of body types and sizes, not just my own,” says Windsor.
The swim collection is designed to include a wide variety of silhouettes so that everyone can find something they love and feel confident in. With inspiration from vintage swim styles, classic silhouettes, and unique fabrications, Devon has created a swimwear line that screams breezy femininity and cool girl, all in one, while still reflecting her style. In addition to the design, it was important for Windsor to create a personalized shopping experience. In addition to showcasing the large variety of swim styles, each order will come with custom packaging, including small reusable pouches perfect for your sunscreen and travel essentials.
