October 3, 2023 (Los Angeles, CA) — Today, Billboard announced super-producer Metro Boomin as the sole cover star for the “Grammys Preview 2024” issue.
“Without compromising his signature sound, which is characterized by eerie synth loops, 808s, soulful samples, and orchestral finishes and branded by his notorious producer tags … So far, he has produced 115 Billboard Hot 100 songs, including 10 top 10 hits, among them Post Malone’s Quavo-featuring Congratulations and Future’s Mask Off, and two No. 1s, Migos’ Bad and Boujee (featuring Lil Uzi Vert) and The Weeknd’s Heartless.” – Billboard, Heran Mamo
Metro looks to close out a monumental year with the success of his second studio album Heroes & Villains dominating the Billboard charts, his headlining Coachella performance, and the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack (+ animated film cameo!). He’s showing no signs of slowing down as we head into the latter half of the year. Recently, Metro performed at the 2023 VMAs, Billboard’s R&B Hip-Hop Live Event, was named to the 2023 TIME100 NEXT List, and The Hollywood Reporter’s 25 Platinum Players in Music. Later this month, Metro will be holding a special performance with Redbull’s Symphonic Orchestra on October 26th at The Dolby Theatre, and of course, he recently announced that he’s working on a joint album with Future.

Beyond the music, this year Metro has made a noticeable impact in the brand world starring in a commercial for his partnership with Budweiser for the Super Bowl, MLB to celebrate opening day, and Sonic for their summer drinks remix campaign alongside a selection of fellow artists, with more to come before 2023 wraps.
Additionally, in honor of his own mom and all single moms globally, he has continued his committed work with the “Single Moms are Superheroes” campaign through his Boominati Foundation and the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation.
