Canadian platinum-certified and JUNO award-winning dance-pop artist, Rêve, announced her highly anticipated debut album, Saturn Return, will release on October 20th, 2023. The album celebrates human emotion in the form of a love letter to dance music. In addition, Rêve released her new single, “Contemporary Love” ahead of the announcement. “Contemporary Love” is skillfully produced by Mike Wise (Ellie Goulding, Britney Spears), and offers another glimpse of what’s to come on the forthcoming album. “Contemporary Love is a tip of the hat to my great love of disco. It explores the struggle of being a hopeless romantic in the modern dating world which at times can feel pretty transactional and cold,” Reve notes. The official video for “Contemporary Love” evokes the free spirit and dance atmosphere reminiscent of the historic Studio 54. It is directed by Dan LeMoyne, who is known for his MMVA-nominated work and collaborated on the “Big Boom” music video.

Saturn Return emerged from the early moments of the pandemic and the early studio sessions. The journey was nothing short of a labor of love, as it emerged from the depths of over a hundred compositions crafted throughout the years. The album’s name aptly reflects Rêve astrological inspiration, and its tracks feature emotionally charged stories through powerful lyrics and production.
