Malne

Malne — operating as La Maison Malne — is a Spanish fashion house founded in 2016 by Paloma Álvarez e Juanjo Mánez, two professionals who are part of the history of Spanish fashion, with extensive experience in luxury prêt-à-porter and couture. From its atelier in Madrid, the house builds what it describes as “slow fashion” and haute couture designed to endure — collections conceived to be kept and worn across seasons rather than consumed and discarded.

The label has become a fixture on the official MBFWMadrid calendar, where it presents its couture-inflected womenswear and has been profiled for its distinctive market position within Spanish luxury design. Malne’s founders are widely cited as authoritative figures in the Spanish industry, and the house balances artisanal construction with a contemporary, wearable sensibility. Its placement on the Thursday programme at the Universidad Nebrija campus places it among the established designers who form the core of the edition’s designer-led days, alongside Odette Álvarez, Antonio del Canto and Isabel Sanchís.
