Grande, nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Glinda in “Wicked,” chose a vintage ensemble that paid homage to her character. She wore a black Yves Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 1991 Haute Couture gown, featuring a chiffon skirt and a bow-accented corseted bodice. The soft pink ostrich feather accents at the neckline subtly referenced Glinda’s signature color.
This appearance continues Grande’s tradition of incorporating elements from her “Wicked” character into her red carpet looks. Earlier, she wore a custom Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown in pink, channeling Glinda’s iconic style.
