The new chapter of the brand’s feminine story celebrates free love and universal peace with fashion worn on the catwalk by models and authentic women because the style is real.
Authenticity is the extra attribute that has always completed the vision of contemporary and multifaceted femininity, a spokesperson for a truly democratic, inclusive, and versatile fashion. The one that Martino Midali brings to Semana da Moda de Milão by presenting a new chapter of his “History of women” enclosed in the SS25 E· Material.

It is a style for authentic women, the same ones who choose to dress in Midali in everyday life and who wear it on the catwalk alongside the models to amplify the sense of a message that celebrates free love and universal peace from the initial performance entrusted to the dancers of La Compagnia Ormaslab orchestrated by the choreographer Ornella Sberna. Three couples, a symbol of universal, genderless, and ageless love, dance to the notes of “A Year of Love” by Mina to represent, thanks to the dance and words of the song, the power of a feeling capable of overcoming barriers and prejudices to sing the praises of peace and respect in all its forms.
Because passion, whatever it is, is an emotion that enriches life.
And it is from the same passion – for the material, for women, for fashion – that Martino Midali’s SS25 collection comes to life, with a manifesto name, E· Materica, which becomes the inspirational fabric along which natural elements blend and textures are intertwined with refined craftsmanship.
Color is the material foundation of a proposal characterized by the monochromatic background, in which the chiaroscuro created by the hand-made trowel makes the difference. The soul of the textures recalls stone, iron, clay, earth and wood, and olive green, and is reflected in a palette that prefers dove gray and ivory. A natural landscape to wear on the skin that offers an immersive and tactile experience because the fabrics touch and explore each other by caressing the surface that welcomes signature workmanship that dynamizes them with three-dimensional effects generated by the irregular play of ripples, between pleated and embossed textures.

Martino Midali's codes are artistically connected with the material, giving unprecedented effects: in the wide blouses that stretch over soft trousers or open on midi dresses and long trapezoids; in oversized shirts to be worn even layered and with a contrasting material structure, over ankle-length trousers. A concentrate of brightness that belongs to the iridescent laminated fabric, from which agile garments come to life to be mixed, including sleeveless blouses and volume tunics, palazzo pants, Bermuda shorts, and A-line midi dresses, oversized pinafore and hooded cardigans, where details play, such as the refined mandarin lacing. Again, there is space for the mix of matte and glossy finishes that emphasize the depth and richness of the cuts, completed by wavy organza garments in dialogue with the transparencies in the duster coats and ponchos with drawstrings and on the essential kaftans. The brand’s idea of femininity in motion is encapsulated by the key look, essential and always perfect, the Bermuda shorts to be worn with a cardigan, for smart elegance without smudging.
And again, iridescent colors and soft nuances; bronze and multi-layered stripes of different shades and sizes, to be combined in the name of freedom; and then brown, in shades ranging from caramel to dark chocolate, in which the memory of Martino Midali’s identity and comfortable taste can be found.
