Sérgio Hudson
Sérgio Hudson is an American fashion designer who launched his eponymous label in 2018 after stints with Ralph Lauren and Diane von Furstenberg. He debuted his first runway collection at New York Fashion Week in September 2019, quickly establishing a reputation for vibrant colors, structured tailoring, and red-carpet-ready gowns. Hudson was born and raised in South Carolina and moved to New York to pursue his fashion career.
Hudson has been a finalist for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in 2020 and 2022, and won the 2023 CFDA Emerging Designer of the Year award, becoming a CFDA member. He has dressed 15 celebrities at a single Met Gala and has built a devoted celebrity clientele. His brand is headquartered in New York and has been a regular NYFW presenter since its debut. Hudson’s work is characterized by a bold, unapologetically glamorous aesthetic that celebrates Black culture and the diversity of the American woman.
