Monse is a contemporary luxury fashion label founded in 2015 by husband-and-wife design duo Laura Kim and Fernando García. The pair met while working together at Oscar de la Renta, where they developed a shared design language rooted in modern femininity,
bold tailoring, and unexpected construction details. Monse’s signature aesthetic blends gender-fluid silhouettes with vibrant color palettes and a playful, irreverent spirit.
The brand has consistently showcased its collections at New York Fashion Week since its debut, earning critical acclaim for its fresh, youthful approach to luxury ready-to-wear. Kim and García are both CFDA members and have been recognized by the council for their contributions to American fashion. In addition to Monse, the duo served as co-creative directors of Oscar de la Renta from 2016 to 2018. Monse is returning to NYFW this season after a brief absence from the official schedule, reaffirming its place within the New York fashion landscape.
