Baum und Pferdgarten Spring-Summer 2027 Collection ‘Together’ in Copenhagen

Baum und Pferdgarten presented its spring-summer 2027 collection, titled “Together,” on Aug. 5 during Copenhagen Fashion Week, staging the show at Skuespilhuset, the Royal Danish Playhouse on the city’s waterfront. Creative directors Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave built the collection around connection and intimacy, drawing on the 1990s Danish film “The Celebration.” The show was the brand’s first presentation of the season for the week’s 20th-anniversary program.

The collection’s guiding idea pairs the chaos of everyday life with the warmth of gathering, exploring how clothing performs at the intersection of the two. “We were fascinated by the idea of the table as a meeting point — a place where life happens,” Baumgarten and Hestehave said in show notes. “A place of connection, conflict and celebration.” The runway opened with a single look presented in silence before the music began, a formal device that set the collection’s ceremonial tone.

Silhouettes balance strict, tailored lines against soft, flowing forms. Tailoring is precise and somewhat stiff in the shoulders, while dresses fall loose and fluid, often pooling at the ground. The design tension between control and release extends across the offer, with structured tailoring meeting softer, more fluid garments throughout the lineup.

Fabrication runs through cotton, organic poplin, viscose, satin, and jacquard, with lace and beaded embroidery applied as surface decoration. The palette spans ivory, white, black, chocolate, wine, and sherbet shades, with burnt orange and turquoise providing accent. Flat tailoring, sharp collar points, and boxy jackets recur as construction signatures.

Beaded and sequined pieces open the show, while long, sheer dresses layered over simple undergarments appear in the middle of the lineup. Eveningwear is cut in statement proportions, and denim appears in fluid, dress-like silhouettes rather than standard jean constructions.

The show was styled by Kristine Boesen, with casting by Julia Lange. Hair was by Anthony Turner, makeup by Isabelle Dupont, and nails by Tamara Koçer. Show notes did not disclose additional backstage credits.

Copenhagen Fashion Week’s spring 2027 edition, running Aug. 3–7, marks 20 years of the event. Baum und Pferdgarten shows alongside Danish peers including Ganni, Stine Goya, By Malene Birger, and OpéraSPORT on a calendar that also hosts international names such as Paolina Russo and Collina Strada.
