The Vicenza house hung the arcades of the Chiostro di Sant’Eustorgio with veils for its spring 2027 show: 46 looks, a coed casting, and a collection built to be read

Milan – Peserico named its spring 2027 season before it cut it. “Tessuti di Parole” translates as fabrics of words, and the house frames the collection as “a language in constant evolution, shaped by surfaces, signs and layers.”
The comparison it reaches for is grammatical. A garment, like a sentence, is “brought to life through pauses and accents.” Materials shift the reading; light draws a different nuance out of the same surface.
The Setting
A Sentence Made Spatial
The show was staged at the Chiostro di Sant’Eustorgio, the cloister complex adjoining the Basilica di Sant’Eustorgio that houses the Museo Diocesano Carlo Maria Martini. Semi-transparent veils were hung through the arcades, which the house describes as “pages suspended in time.”
Backdrops came from transparency and slight shifts in colour rather than from built scenery. Light was treated as a component of the collection: it altered how the silhouettes read as they moved, and the show notes call it “an integral part of the experience” rather than a frame around it.

Forty-Six Looks
46 runway looks · 8 backstage frames
The runway gallery runs to 46 looks, with eight more frames from backstage. For a house that began with a single product category, that length is the argument. This is a wardrobe being assembled in public, look by look.
Backstage
Eight Frames Before the Walk
Behind the collected runway: eight frames shot before the doors opened, when the season was still being fitted, pinned and brushed into place.
One Runway, One Point of View
Men’s and Women’s, On One Floor
For September, Peserico put men’s and women’s on one runway. “It’s the right moment to convey the collection with the right impact and a single point of view,” Riccardo Peruffo, the house’s chief executive and co-creative director, said ahead of the show.
Menswear is no longer a side project. Peserico presented its first men’s collection in Milan in 2021; the category now accounts for 15 percent of total sales, and the house opened dedicated men’s stores in Forte dei Marmi and Cannes this year.
The Business
What Has to Pay for the Show
Peserico’s sales totaled more than 130 million euros last year, up 5 percent on 2024, and Peruffo projected 10 percent growth for 2026. Online was up 20 percent and represented 5 percent of 2025 sales. Retail, at 66 stores, accounted for half of revenues. The house forecast 10 new openings this year alongside the restructuring of 10 existing boutiques, with Berlin and San Francisco among the planned addresses and a Bal Harbour, Fla., store recently completed.
The United States is Peserico’s largest retail market, at 30 percent of 2025 sales, up 11 percent on the year before, spread across 12 boutiques and 23 corners inside Bloomingdale’s. The brand first expanded there in 1990 and opened a U.S. branch in 1996.
Peruffo attributes the position to “consistency and a timeless, yet dynamic product.” “In difficult and challenging times, reliability is a winning quality, attracting loyalty,” he said.
What Competitors Are Missing
Runway galleries carried the 46 looks and stopped there. The collection’s own thesis went unexamined: a house that has cut trousers outside Vicenza since 1962 is now using fabric and light as its grammar, and the show notes say so explicitly. The coed runway is the connective tissue. Trade reporting treated it as a scheduling note; read against menswear’s rise to 15 percent of sales and a U.S. business at 30 percent of revenue, it is a single-voice positioning play, aimed at the customer who buys the 재킷 and the trousers from the same label.
About Peserico
From a Trousers Workshop, 1962
Founded in 1962 in Cornedo Vicentino, near Vicenza, Peserico began as a workshop specializing in women’s trousers, opened by Maria Peserico. Her husband, Giuseppe Peruffo, joined the management in 1975 and launched the first Peserico collection of pants and skirts.
The company remains family-owned and is led by the founders’ son, Riccardo Peruffo, who serves as chief executive and shares creative direction with his wife, Paola Gonella, the brand’s creative director.
Peserico has now made its argument in one voice: 46 looks, a single 런웨이, and a 64-year-old workshop line doing the talking. The next page is retail — 10 new stores this year, including Berlin and San Francisco, and 10 boutiques rebuilt to carry the collection out of the cloister.
