Drea de Matteo and tax reform leader Julio P. Gonzalez will receive The Luminary Award
Grammy and Latin Grammy winner Robbie Elias will perform at the Four Seasons Miami
그리고 빛나는 옹호 프로젝트 Foundation has announced the honorees, host and entertainment for its fifth annual Light Up the Night Gala, taking place Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami.
The black-tie-optional event will begin at 7 p.m. and is expected to welcome nearly 300 guests. Proceeds will support the Luminous Advocacy Project’s work promoting breast health awareness, encouraging early detection of possible breast abnormalities, expanding education and improving equitable access to medical care for women worldwide.
The Luminary Award
올해의 Luminary Award will recognize individuals whose influence and commitment have helped advance women’s health and human dignity.
Emmy Award-winning actress Drea de Matteo, known for her roles in 소프라노스 그리고 Sons of Anarchy, will receive the award and be recognized as a Luminous Ambassador.
“Knowing your own body is the beginning of every good decision about your health. Luminous puts that within reach of any woman, between screenings, in her own hands,” said de Matteo.
Julio P. Gonzalez, founder and CEO of Engineered Tax Services in West Palm Beach and a nationally recognized voice on tax reform, will also receive The Luminary Award. Gonzalez is being honored in memory of his mother, Paula Gonzalez, whom he lost to breast cancer when he was a young man.
Through ETS Cares, Engineered Impact, his nonprofit Entrepreneur Frontier and his ongoing work with students at Roosevelt Elementary in West Palm Beach, Gonzalez has supported communities, entrepreneurs and children.
“My mother believed in me before I had accomplished anything, and she made me believe that where I started did not determine where I could go,” Gonzalez said. “Hardship does not have to be the end of your story. Pain can become purpose, success can become service, and one person’s belief in you can change the direction of your entire life.”
A third honoree will be announced in the coming weeks.
Host and Entertainment
Michele Reese, Mrs. Florida International 2026, will host the evening.
Miami-born singer and songwriter Robbie Elias, whose credits include Grammy– and Latin Grammy-winning albums, will perform with his band. The evening will also feature live experiences throughout.
The program will include films highlighting the Foundation’s medical missions, followed by a candle-lighting ceremony led by Dr. Julio Hernandez, chair of the Luminous Advocacy Project Foundation.
“Every woman deserves to know her own body between screenings. Our mission is to put that knowledge, and the care that follows it, within reach of women anywhere in the world, at no cost to them,” said 메릴린 댄스, founder of the Luminous Advocacy Project Foundation.
“Light Up the Night is how we fund that work, and this year we are honoring people who understand that reach and responsibility go together.”
About the Luminous Advocacy Project Foundation

Through its global medical missions, the Foundation covers the full cost of care for patients, including sonograms, mammograms, biopsies, transportation, and, when necessary, surgery. Patients are never billed.
