The Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2022 collection is inspired by the book Insurgent Muse, life and art at the woman’s building by Terry Wolverton and the feminist artists of the 70s, who helped found the Woman’s Building as well as paving the way for contemporary artists they’ve inspired, including Ebony G. Patterson. This collection strings the efforts that gave rise to the feminist movement in the art world, that created a platform for today’s female artists.
