Settimana della moda di Dubai stands as the only officially sanctioned fashion platform in the emirate, born from a partnership between Dubai Design District and the Arab Fashion Council. More than a showcase, it functions as an engine for the Arab fashion industry’s global visibility, pairing advocacy with runway spectacle across both womenswear and menswear calendars.

The permanent Designers Committee anchors each season, with names like Michael Cinco, Dima Ayad, Lama Jouni, Weinsanto, Mrs Keepa, BLSSD, and Lili Blanc shaping the creative direction and deciding which newcomers join future editions. This season, Lama Jouni sharpens her signature language of minimalism and edge, delivering a confident rhythm built for the catwalk, while Heba Jasmi returns with her hallmark eveningwear: structured silhouettes, delicate embroidery, and unapologetically refined femininity.

International guest designers have long elevated the calendar’s prestige, with past editions welcoming Jean Paul Gaultier, Iris van Herpen, Moschino, Roberto Cavalli, Blumarine, Carolina Herrera, and Manish Malhotra. Alberta Ferretti joins the roster as guest designer, bringing Italian maison sensibility to the Dubai runway.

The show floor also spotlights emerging voices through initiatives like La Moda Italiana, presented with the Italian Trade Agency, featuring rising names such as Gil Santucci and Valentina Poltronieri, alongside FAD Talents, which highlights the next generation of experimental designers coming out of the Dubai Fashion Institute.

Beyond the runway, the event is wrapped in a layer of lusso partnership, with Delano serving as official hospitality partner and SOUEAST as official automobile partner, reinforcing Dubai’s positioning as a nexus of fashion, design, and lifestyle on the world stage.
