On Wednesday, August 6th, Iscrizione a NYLON kicked off its highly anticipated New York City debut with Art After Dark, a midsummer celebration of creativity at downtown hotspot Jean’s. The exclusive event brought together tastemakers from the worlds of moda, beauty, and culture for a stylish reset just before NYFW, swapping out casual Montauk crop tops for chic cocktail attire.
Guests entered Jean’s through a tastefully curated foyer, featuring florals by NYLON Member Rachel Clark and an array of custom aprons available as keepsakes. With cocktails in hand, attendees mingled, exchanging ideas and creative energy, before diving into the evening’s highlight: a snake-inspired painting experience led by an “intuitive approach.” NYLON Members and models like Charlotte Coquelin, Janina Jung, Polina Isadora, Nneoma Anosike, e Koval gathered around tables draped in linen, spicy dirty martinis within reach, as Fleetwood Mac’s nostalgic sounds set the tone for a laid-back atmosphere.
From Jean’s signature fries served in iconic NYC coffee cups to the elevated fusion of art and nightlife, the evening had all the makings of an unforgettable downtown summer moment.
As the night drew to a close, guests left with more than just their hand-painted masterpieces and bespoke gift bags filled with NYLON-approved favorites like Doft Skincare serums, Kosas gloss, RPZL’s coveted clips, and David bars.
