Francesco Murano

Francesco Murano is an Italian designer (born 1997) who graduated in Fashion Design from IED Milan in 2019, earning the Camera Moda Italiana Fashion award for his graduate collection. After years dedicated to bespoke made-to-measure tailoring, he launched his ready-to-wear womenswear line in 2021. Murano gained international attention as an LVMH Prize semifinalist; his first runway show, the FW25 collection “Aequus,” was staged at Fondazione Sozzani in Milan and covered by Vogue.

His design language fuses rigorous tailoring, sculptural cuts and a distinctly contemporary Italian sensibility, with both bespoke and rtw components. He has presented on the Milan Fashion Week calendar since FW25, positioning him among the most followed young Italian designers. The SS27 collection, with venue to be confirmed, continues his focus on architectural womenswear and atelier-level construction.
