Jhene Aiko Brings The Magic To The Stage In Chicago, Il, Greensboro, Nc, & Washington D.C. For Her Headlining Arena Tour
June 24th, 2024 – Over the weekend, six-time GRAMMY™ nominated singer, songwriter, poet and mother of two, Jhené Aiko, performed three shows for her “Magic Hour Tour” with unforgettable, enchanting performances at the United Center in Chicago, Greensboro Coliseum, and Capital One Arena. These concerts are part of her first headlining arena tour in six years. Aiko and special guests Tink, Umi, Coi Leray and Kiana Ledé will be embarking on a 27-city summer trek to arenas across the continent through August. The tour will touch down in major cities like Los Angeles, Houston, and Boston, culminating for a grand finale in Columbus, Ohio.

The shows were filled with captivating visuals featuring ethereal set designs that transported audiences to a galactic realm adorned with sparkling crystals, vibrant lights, and a larger-than-life blooming lotus flower. Her Chicago performance featured five outfits, including an intricately beaded red custom Valdrin Sahiti gown, a white set with a hand-beaded flower top and a matching beaded satin skirt by PatBo, and a shimmering bronze silk dress from Tammy Brook Christian Siriano. Aiko stunned on the Greensboro stage in four different looks, including a colorful floral tiered tulle dress by Carolina Herrera, an iridescent cream draped dress by Christian Siriano, and a voluminous pale yellow bejeweled long-sleeve gown by Georges Hobeika.
During her performances, Aiko blended timeless fan favorites and new tracks, including “Sativa,” “While We’re Young," Dan "”B.S.” from her three-time Grammy-nominated hit album “Chimbolo,” which received critical acclaim. Kiana Ledé opened Aiko’s Chicago performance, followed by a surprise performance from G Herbo and DJ Starrza. In Chicago, Aiko opened with the classic track “Stay Ready (What a Life)” which was the first of many numbers to ignite a full-voiced singalong from the crowd loud enough to drown out the headliner onstage nearly. In Greensboro, Umi opened the performance with a moment of magical meditation. Aiko kicked off her performance by singing “3:16 AM” and later surprised the crowd by singing in Japanese.

Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo – Los Angeles born, six-time Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, poet and mother of 2- has been at the forefront of a new wave of contemporary music for more than a decade.
