Stephen Jones Millinery

Stephen Jones Millinery is the world’s most celebrated milliner, the British hat designer whose work spans couture, ready-to-wear and avant-garde headwear. Jones founded his millinery house in London in 1980 after studying at Central Saint Martins, and has since created hats for Dior (as millinery director since 1996), Vivienne Westwood, John Galliano and a roster of the industry’s leading houses; his clients have included Princess Diana, Boy George, Madonna and Rihanna, and his hats appear in the collections of the V&A and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He has won multiple awards including the British Fashion Council’s Accessory Designer of the Year, and was appointed an OBE for services to the fashion industry. At LFW September 2026, Stephen Jones Millinery holds by-appointment showings of its SS27 headwear from 10:30–12:30 on Thursday, by invitation only. The appointment format gives press, stylists and buyers dedicated time with the new collection, and Jones’s sculptural, theatrical hats remain a defining reference of British fashion craft.
