McQueen

McQueen is the British fashion house founded by Lee Alexander McQueen, who established the label in 1992 after graduating from Central Saint Martins — his graduate collection having been bought in its entirety by Isabella Blow — and who became one of the most influential designers in fashion history before his death in 2010. The house, now part of the Kering group, built its reputation on technically extraordinary tailoring, darkly romantic narrative and a confrontational approach to beauty, and its skull scarf, bumster trousers and armadillo shoe became defining objects of their eras.

Under creative director Seán McGirr, appointed in 2023 and formerly of JW Anderson, the house has been reinterpreting the archive for a new generation. SS27 marks McQueen’s return to the London Fashion Week calendar after 25 years, having shown in Paris since 2001 — the single most significant headline of the September 2026 season. The show takes the 20:00 Sunday slot at 180 The Strand, classified MW/WW and invitation only.
