Amir Taghi

Amir Taghi is a New York-based fashion designer who launched his eponymous label as a teenager, building the brand from the ground up without formal fashion education or prior industry employment. His self-taught approach and singular creative vision quickly attracted attention within the American fashion community. The brand is known for its distinctive aesthetic and has been worn by a growing roster of celebrity clients and featured in fashion media.

Taghi presented his Spring/Summer 2026 collection during New York Fashion Week, earning critical recognition that led to his selection as one of the ten finalists for the 2026 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund — one of American fashion’s most prestigious emerging designer programs. The Fund awards $300,000 to the winner and $100,000 each to two runners-up, with the winner to be announced at a gala dinner on October 20, 2026. Taghi’s inclusion on the SS27 Official NYFW Schedule marks a significant milestone for the young designer, who joins fellow CVFF finalists Aisling Camps, Bad Binch TongTong, Lii, and Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen on the calendar.
