PARIS – Givenchy has decamped to Croatia’s rocky Adriatic coast for its Winter 2026 women’s campaign, reuniting the multi-generational cast of Sarah Burton’s fall runway show in front of Juergen Teller’s camera, the house said Thursday.

Eva Herzigova, काइया गेरबर, Nyaduola Gabriel, Liu Wen and the French writer and former criminal lawyer Constance Debré were photographed against what the house described as “a landscape of steely granite,” with stone beaches, concrete boardwalks, coves and makeshift outdoor showers standing in for the studio.

The five women are the core of the “extended family” who contributed to the fittings and the “collective, electric buzz” of the show Burton staged in March, a presentation that drew a rare standing ovation and which WWD called “sensational,” saying the British designer “opened the aperture even wider” with velvet, animal prints, kimono silks, lace, silver bullion and wild furry textures.

“There’s a directness about the women in the campaign which speaks to their personality and strength,” Burton said in a statement. “I wanted it to be purely about that – everything I design at गिवेंची centers on seeing and celebrating the reality and the brilliance of all kinds of women.”

The campaign is the latest chapter of Burton’s portrait-driven advertising for the LVMH-owned house, and the first to hand the camera to Teller, whose raw, snapshot-flash aesthetic departs from the soft, collaborative register of Collier Schorr’s earlier outings. Schorr lensed Burton’s debut Fall 2025 campaign – a studio session built around the friendship between Gerber and filmmaker Halina Reijn – and followed it with “The Portrait Series III” for Summer 2026, in which Annie Leibovitz stepped in front of the lens. Ferdinando Verderi, who art-directed the Schorr series, does not appear in the credits this time; M/M (Paris) is credited with the campaign’s creative direction.

The imagery leans into the wardrobe signatures of Burton’s fall collection, which went on sale in stores this month. Gerber carries a version of the house’s Pinch bag and wears some of the season’s outsized optical frames and mask-like sunglasses; Herzigova, incongruously, pairs swimsuits with black leather thigh boots, gold hardware glinting near the top of her legs, per images released by the house. The lineup also includes a blouse cut in calf leather and the embroidered, shredded and fringed floral gown that punctuated Burton’s fall show.

The campaign arrives as the house enters its crucial fall selling window under Alessandro Valenti, the chief executive officer who recruited Burton from Alexander McQueen in 2024 to revive a brand that had lost momentum under Matthew M. Williams. Burton’s appointment – announced in September 2024 with her first collection following in March 2025 – has given Givenchy a critical and commercial storyline LVMH’s fashion group has been leaning on amid a luxury slowdown, with the fall show generating the kind of consensus acclaim the house had not seen in years.

The location choice also carries a house echo: Teller photographed Givenchy during the Riccardo Tisci era, most memorably the fall 2010 campaign that cast Lea T, one of the first transgender models in a major luxury campaign, per a WWD report at the time. The return of his lens under Burton reads as a deliberate turn toward a grittier, less polished image of the Givenchy woman – one the brand itself is now framing around “the spectrum of identities, age, sensuality and femininity” that inspires the designer.

Debré, the outlier in a cast of models, wrote “Playboy” and “Love Me Tender,” autobiographical novels that won her the Prix La Coupole and made her a literary cause in France after she left her marriage and her law practice in 2015 to write full time. Her presence in the campaign – photographed, like her co-stars, in Burton’s “impeccable, mannish tailoring” – extends the casting logic Burton has used since her first season, in which stylist Camilla Nickerson and makeup artist Lucia Pieroni also stepped in front of the camera.

Givenchy declined to detail the campaign’s media buy, but the imagery will roll out across print, digital and out-of-home placements through the season, the house said.

The campaign lands as Gerber, Burton’s most visible Givenchy muse since the debut season, keeps a parallel foothold in fashion-adjacent media; she hosted the pre-Oscars Vanity Fair party in a naked, drop-waist Givenchy dress in March and continues to build her acting résumé alongside her मार्ग work.
