Nike Basketball proudly introduces its Class of 2025 NIL athletes — Aaliyah Chavez, Brandon McCoy, and Tyran Stokes — three standout talents who embody the brand’s commitment to empowering the next generation of basketball stars.
These five-star recruits join Nike’s elite NIL roster, which features the most promising young hoopers in the game. Backed by Nike’s comprehensive support system and legacy of innovation, Aaliyah, Brandon, and Tyran represent the values of creativity, courage, and progress.

Aaliyah Chavez, the No. 1 player in her class, begins her collegiate journey at the University of Oklahoma after a historic high school career at Monterey High School in Lubbock, Texas. She averaged 35 points and 9 rebounds per game in her senior year, amassing nearly 4,800 points and 1,300 rebounds overall. Aaliyah also led her AAU team to Nike Nationals titles in 2022 and 2024 and was named to the 2025 USA Women’s Nike Hoop Summit Team.
“The women’s game is growing fast, and Nike is a big part of that,” says Aaliyah. “I’m excited to help push it forward and inspire young girls to chase their dreams.”

Brandon McCoy, a top-tier prospect, shone at St. John Bosco High School before transferring to Sierra Canyon. He averaged 16 points and 7 rebounds last season and dominated at the Mamba League Invitational and U19 FIBA World Cup. At Nike’s Peach Jam, he ranked third in scoring with 22 points per game.
“Becoming a Nike athlete has been my dream for years,” Brandon shares. “Now that I’m part of the family, I’m more motivated than ever to grow, give back, and represent the brand on and off the court.”

Tyran Stokes, also ranked No. 1 in his class, posted 21 points and over 9 rebounds per game last season at Notre Dame High School. He’s earned gold medals at the U19 and U17 FIBA World Cups and the U16 Americas Championship.
“Joining Nike means being part of a legacy,” says Tyran. “I want to help shape the future of the game and give feedback that reflects my community’s voice.”

These athletes join a powerhouse NIL lineup that includes Ace Bailey, Jazzy Davidson, AJ Dybantsa, Dylan Harper, Jerzy Robinson, and JuJu Watkins.
Nike’s NIL partnerships go beyond sponsorship — they’re collaborative platforms that support athletes in sport, business, and culture. From personalized training and styling to media and content support, Nike provides tools for long-term success.
This approach reflects Nike’s 50-year legacy as the brand of athletes and its ongoing mission to uplift and inspire through innovation, storytelling, and global impact.
