Maroc Fashion Week – April 2025
“Fashion of Yesterday and Today”
At the Museum of Culinary Arts in Marrakech
An experience blending tailoring and gastronomy

Marrakech, April 2025 – On Saturday, April 26th, the Museum of Moroccan Culinary Arts hosted the event “Fashion of Yesterday and Today,” which celebrated the fusion of Moroccan fashion and gastronomy.
The evening officially began with a visit to the exhibition of vintage caftans, authentic symbols of Morocco’s rich tailoring heritage. The program then continued with four fashion shows: the first showcased exclusive caftans from private Moroccan collections; the second featured traditional Azerbaijani garments, paying homage to the intercultural dialogue between Morocco and Azerbaijan. The evening concluded with contemporary creations by Wafaa Idrissi, who presented elegant caftans inspired by nature, followed by sophisticated interpretations of feminine elegance by Mina Binebine, demonstrating how tradition continues to inspire the creative language of today’s designers.
A cocktail dinner, accompanied by an atmosphere enhanced by Andalusian melodies, created a complete sensory experience, offering a fascinating journey between tradition and innovation, blending tailoring elegance and authentic flavors.
Organized by the Association La Route de la Soie et d’Al-Andalus, the event is part of a broader project aimed at promoting textile heritage, intercultural dialogue, and supporting contemporary creativity. “La mode of Yesterday and Today” represented an important opportunity to strengthen cultural ties between Morocco and Azerbaijan, providing a platform for creatives from both countries.
