Francesca Lake
Francesca Lake is a designer and new 2026/27 BFC NEWGEN recipient — one of three debutants in the cohort alongside Gui Rosa and Petra Fagerström — presenting in the NEWGEN Presentation Space at LFW September 2026. NEWGEN, run by the British Fashion Council in partnership with PULL&BEAR, is the industry’s flagship emerging-talent programme: since 1993 it has provided funding, mentorship and LFW showcasing to help emerging designers build globally recognised, commercially resilient businesses. Lake presents the Spring/Summer 2027 collection across menswear and womenswear from 13:30–15:30 on Thursday as a scheduled NEWGEN presentation; public biographical detail is limited, and the entry is included for completeness as part of the official schedule. The presentation gives press and buyers dedicated time with the collection in the NEWGEN space, and Lake’s debut continues the programme’s tradition of identifying the next generation of British fashion talent.
