Yellow by Sahar is the Los Angeles-based bridal label of creative director Sahar Fotouhi, who launched the collection after finding herself newly engaged and identifying what she saw as a void in the bridal industry. With a strong background in fine art, Fotouhi set out to create wearable pieces of art, incorporating both traditional and modern design elements, and the label is defined by its fearless use of yellow amid the classic white palette — a deliberate departure from conventional bridal.

The house describes its output as blending unexpected elegance, conceptual glamour and provocative couture, with silhouettes that are structured yet sensual; recent work has merged a 1970s-inspired flared, low-rise silhouette with bold elements drawn from the 1980s and 1990s. Gowns are priced from approximately US$8,000 to US$15,000 and above, and the label is stocked by SPINA Bride in New York, among others. Yellow by Sahar has been covered by WWD and is one of seven houses new to the official NYFW Bridal schedule for October 2026, holding the longest single-day appointment window on the calendar.
