Watters Designs

Watters Designs was founded in 1986 by Vatana Watters, who began by designing bespoke bridesmaid dresses for herself, family and friends after finding the bridal market of the time formulaic. The response to those early dresses led her to build a brand around high-fashion sensibilities, luxury fabrics, sculptural silhouettes, sensuous draping and handcrafted detail, and the company grew from bridesmaids into full bridal as brides came calling. Today Watters offers four bridal collections — Watters, Locket, Willowby and By Watters — spanning dramatic, dreamy, sexy, sculptural, romantic, modern and classic registers, alongside a full accessories line of veils, sleeves, toppers and capes.

The house is known for its vintage-inspired styling and for convertible, multi-look gowns that transform from ceremony to celebration. This season Watters Designs celebrates its 40th anniversary, the longest-running milestone on the October 2026 calendar, and marks it with an evening event on the opening day before continuing with full-day appointments across October 14 and 15.
