Veejay Floresca

Veejay Floresca is a Filipino fashion designer who won the 21st season of the American television series Project Runway, having previously competed on the Filipino version of the series and on Hulu’s Dress My Tour. Born and raised in the Philippines, she earned a Master’s degree in fashion at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and is an alumna of De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, where she studied Fashion Design and Merchandising. Floresca designs and produces made-to-order pieces that embody slow fashion and contemporary bridal wear, working from Los Angeles, and her practice spans dramatic evening gowns and modern bridal.

Her work has been described as redefining luxury with designs that celebrate heritage, and she has built a following for custom pieces made to order rather than mass production. She is a trans woman and has spoken publicly about her path from Manila to the New York runway. Floresca appears on the official NYFW Bridal October 2026 schedule among the established roster of more than 40 houses, presenting on the opening day of the market.
