Caroline Castigliano

Caroline Castigliano is one of Britain’s most established luxury bridal designers, known for effortless silhouettes, expert corsetry and a modern approach to couture wedding dresses. She began her career in the United States, spending five years with her first company, Survival Kit, designing high-performance active sportswear for major retailers — an experience she credits with teaching her how women want to feel in their clothes: confident, supported and free to move.

She returned to the United Kingdom in 1991, identified a gap in the market for a modern, sophisticated bridal aesthetic, and opened her first bridal boutique in Esher, Surrey, soon after collaborating with Jasper Conran on a label that became a commercial success. Six months later she launched the first official Caroline Castigliano collection, and she has since run The Wedding Dress at Harrods and The Designer Bridal Room at Liberty. Her gowns are made in the UK, each built around a unique inner structure that shapes and flatters the body. This season she celebrates 35 years in bridal.
